It’s Gameday 2 in the Sapphire Series today and that means
more hard hits and touchdowns from the Women’s teams around the country.
After the first set of games a fortnight ago there were 5
unbeaten teams – Birmingham Lions, Edinburgh Wolves, Teeside Steelers, London
Warriors and Sandwell Steelers.
These teams once again take to the field today in a bid to
stay perfect, but the teams in the pack will be wanting to claim a prize of big
scalp or two so they have to be at their best to remain at the top of their
respective divisions.
